Representing American University across North America...
Our Model United Nations program is one of the best in the country. American Model United Nations has been ranked top #7 in North America last fall and top #16 overall in 2016-2017, having skyrocketed from being ranked in the top #75 in just two years.
What does the team do?
Each year, the Model United Nations team represents the best of American University's international relations program, engaging in debate, conflict resolution, and innovation on some of the most challenging issues that plague our international community. We train our delegates to think outside the box in General Assembly, Crisis, and Specialized Committees, proposing practical policy solutions to the world's most intractable conflicts.
Our team travels to Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, New York, West Point, Williamsburg, and even Montreal, Canada to compete at the highest levels of competition with top universities.
